Mitosis is the process of cell division, where one parent cell divides to produce two genetically identical daughter cells. This process is vital in growth and tissue repair.
The reason that tissue from the fetal stage is helpful in studying mitosis is because mitosis is continuously and rapidly occurring in this phase of life in humans. The high rate of mitosis is due to the need for the fetus to grow rapidly and develop the necessary parts for it to be born.

2) Intramembranous ossification : The process by which bone is formed by replacing a fibrous membrane and not from cartilage. This type of ossification occurs as follows :

  • An ossification center appears in the fibrous connective tissue membrane.
  • Bone matrix is secreted within fibrous membrane
  • Woven bone and periosteum forms.
  • Bone collar of compact bone forms and red marrow appears.

Hence option c. the formation of bone from within fibrous membranes is the right option

How does the environment affect the organism, and vice versa? what effects, good as well as bad, have humans had on the environm
TiliK225 [7]
In an ecosystem, two factors are being classified which are the abiotic and the biotic factors. Both of these factors play an important role in order to balance the ecosystem and maintain the harmony of the living things therein. The environment includes the abiotic factors which are the sunlight, weather, water, air, and all other factors which are not living but contribute to the growth and development of the living ones. For example, plants cannot live without water, sunlight and carbon dioxide. The effects that humans have on the environment is both good and bad. Humans also play an important role in maintaining the environment, and they also have the capability to endanger it.
