Virus are living beings but it is hard to decide whether they are living or not because of several reasons. 1- they show the characteristics of living being when only it live in a cell. 2- they never breathe 3- they are minute 4- they have a simple body structure 5- they reproduce some say they are in the border between living and non living

Viruses are not always classified as living cells because they cannot live independently. They rely on a host to provide all resources to live, without a host they are in a dormant, near dead like state. Therefore it has to define a virus as dead or alive as it may or may not have a host.

Novay_Z [31]
The correct answer is E.coli.

Eating undercooked meat puts you at a great risk of getting food-borne diseases, which are caused by pathogen microorganisms. One of the most common food-borne diseases from under-cooked beef is E.coli. The most common symptoms of E.coli are vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach cramps.

If a nonnative species is introduced into an ecosystem . how might the biodiversity or health of the ecosystem change? why
Vinil7 [7]
It would be negatively impacted because a foreign species would start to take over a native species’ role in the ecosystem and may also directly (if it’s a predator) or indirectly lead to the decline of other species. So as some species may start to decline and eventually become extinct in that particular ecosystem, the biodiversity level would lessen cuz there’s less types of plants and animals. Less plants and animals could lead to the ecosystem to eventually collapse and it would be literally a mass extinction.
