Hello there.

Question: <span>Jamie has a deck of 60 sports cards, of which some are baseball cards and some are football cards. Jamie pulls out a card randomly from the deck, records its type, and replaces it in the deck. Jamie has already recorded six baseball cards and nine football cards. Based on these data, what is, most likely, the number of baseball cards in the deck?
12
15
24
30

Answer: You could use ratio to figure this out.
6:9 = 15
6 baseball for 9 football cards
Divide the total by the amount already known
60/15 = 4
Multiply all values by 4.
6 x 4 = 24.
9 x 4 = 36.

In short, the answer is 24.

Hope This Helps You!
Good Luck Studying ^-^

Which one is right triangle angle <br>a. 45, 55 and 35<br>b. 52, 48 and 20
Gemiola [76]
<h2>option b. 52, 48 and 20</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>let's solve:-</u>

  • To test whether given this triangle is right triangle or not, we can use the Pythagorean Theorem .

soo

Pythagorean Theorem=

\bold \green{(leg1)^{2} +(leg2)^{2} =(hypotenuse)^{2} }

<h2>_____________________________________</h2>

Here:-

\bold \blue{leg \: 1 = 48} \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\ \bold  \blue{ leg2 = 20} \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \bold\blue{hypotenuse = 52}

Putting values:-

{48}^{2} + {20}^{2} = {52}^{2} \: \: \: \: \: \: \\ \\ 2304 + 400 = 2704 \\ \\ 2704 = 2704 \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \:

Find the volume of the given solid. under the surface z = 5xy and above the triangle with vertices (1, 1), (4, 1), and (1, 2)
Black_prince [1.1K]
So right now you see that you have x and y intercept right? Then plug those intercepts in equation that you have and solve for z. Which means z=5(1)(1) will be 5, 5(4)(1) will be 20, and 5(1)(2) will be 10. So, overall you have 5, 20, 10.

David is buying fish for his aquarium. Clown fish cost $12 each and angel fish cost $7 each. If he has $100 to spend, and he wan
Anni [7]

Answer:

6 clown fish and 4 angel fish

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>lets say he bought 8 clown fish. </u>

12*8 = 96

the last 4 dollars wont be used.

<u>lets say he bought 7 clown fish-</u>

12*7 = 84

100 - 84 = 16. 16 is not a multiple of 7.

<u>lets say he bought 6 clown fish,</u>

12*6 = 72

100 - 72 = 28

28/7 = 4

If David has $100 dollars to spend and wants to spend every dollar, he can buy 6 clown fish and 4 angel fish.
