To begin with, google is a wide platform where a wide range of information can be found. This can range from common questions, to job postings, the weather, biographis, directions<nd the like. Meanwhile, using a source like Yahoo Directory or Infomine is more subject specific and used for smaller scale searches where the information options doesn't need to be as long. In other words, Google is the properly source for general search.

Murrr4er [49]
  • Zadie Smith had always wanted to dig deeper in her father's war experience, but she never had enough courage to ask him, and neither did he.
  • One day, Zadie finds herself visiting an American poet friend in Normandy. And when they were visiting the beach there, she realized that it might be the place where, 59 years before, her father landed upon. So, she mentions this to her friend, who was also interested in war history of the area, and as a consequence, Zadie is interrogated by this friend. But in the end, Zadie relaizes she knows nothing about his father's war experence.
  • After this event, she returns home and feels determined to start interviewing his father.

Answer:

A)The underline independent clauses in the passage above are not linked by parallel structure

Explanation:

Parallel structure simply means using a similar or same pattern to indicate that two or more ideas have the same level of importance. It is also known as parallelism.

The underlined (in this case the sentence in quote) independent clause is joined by the coordinating conjunction "and" to show that if he answered all the criticism he would have no time for anything else.
