Your answer is -542,340

2 * {390 - [ 5 *( 10 - 4 / 2)] + 15} * 2.
2*{390-[5*(8)]+15}*2
2*{390-[40]+15}*2
2*{390[-40]+15}*2
2* {-135,585}*2
{-271170}*2

So PEMDAS

the order of simplification/operation is
parenthaseese
exponents
multiplication or division whichever comes first
addition or subtraction whichever comes first

so we work the parenthasees inside to out

inside parenthaseese=(10-4/2)
so no exponents so skip
there's division so we do that
4/2=2/1=2
then we have
(10-2)
subtraction
10-2=8
(8)
next parenthaseese/bracket
[5 times (8)+15]
multiplication
5 times 8=40
[40]
other brackets
{390-[40]+15}
subtraction
390-40=350
{350+15}
350+15=365
outside
2 times {365} times 2
multiplication
2 times 365=730
730 times 2=1460

Students are making ornaments and each takes 1 2 of a piece of Bristol board. They go to the cupboard and find 1 1 2 pieces of B
s2008m [1.1K]

Answer: 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Feom the question, we are informed that students are making ornaments and each takes 1/2 of a piece of Bristol board and that they go to the cupboard and find 1 1/2 pieces of Bristol board.

The number of ornaments that they can make will be calculated by dividing 1 1/2 by 1/2. This will be:

= 1 1/2 ÷ 1/2

= 3/2 ÷ 1/2

= 3/2 × 2/1

= 3

They can make 3 ornaments

Two types of memberships are available for a theme park:
sergiy2304 [10]

The equation 2v-41=0 can be used to find the number of visits that would make two memberships cost the same amount.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Per month charges of type 1 = $86

Per visit charge = $3

Let,

v be the number of visits.

T(v) = 3v+86

Per month charges of type 2 = $45

Per visit charge = $5

P(v) = 5v+45

For same amount to be charged;

T(v) = P(v)

3v+86=5v+45\\86-45=5v-3v\\41=2v\\2v-41=0

The equation 2v-41=0 can be used to find the number of visits that would make two memberships cost the same amount.
