For managing weight, yes to skip a meal per day is good, but the body is on a schedule , and putting a dimer in that can cause the body to keep the stored fat in place, so in turn, eating low-fat dietary meals , cuts down on the amount of fat beginning stored and the carbohydrates from the low-fat foods ( which o a side note, low-fat foods, SOMETIMES have more carbohydrates) will convert into the energy needed For the day.
