Volcanic eruptions release molten rock or lava that can form new rock on the earth's surface. The gases,dust, and ashes that erupt from a volcano also affect the climate by covering the earth's surface; therefore, creating a cooling effect on the location of the volcano. Also, in the past where there were super volcanic eruptions that it caused global warming due to volcanoes also releasing greenhouse gases.

Which best represents the center of the data set below?
MA_775_DIABLO [31]

Answer: mean = 318.3

Median =330

Mode= 200

Step-by-step explanation:

Mean (average) is the total sum of values in a given a data set ÷ number of values

= 3820/12

Mean= 318.3

Median= midpoint value in a given data set. When the data set is an even number, median is calculated with the 2 middle point values as n1 + n2/2

Step 1: we rearranged the data set from least to highest value to give

200,200,220, 240,300,320,340,360,380,400,420 and 440

Median= 320 + 340/2

=660/2 = 340

Mode is the value with highest frequency in a given data set, from the given question, mode = 200

Find the value of X and the missing angle
GuDViN [60]

Answer:

x = 10

missing angle = 83°

Step-by-step explanation:

These are supplementary angles meaning they have a sum of 180°.

8x + 3 + 97 = 180

8x + 100 = 180

8x + 100 - 100 = 180 - 100

8x = 80

x = 10

Substitute the value for the variable.

8(10) + 3

80 + 3

83

40 <= x =<100 inequality shows the right answer. Explanation:- Since she has to reach the $200 mark by selling cakes at the rate of $5 each. So, the minimum number of cakes should be 200/5 which is equals to 40. Hence minimum value of number of cakes (x) = 40 It is given that She has 100 cakes this implies that maximum value of x can be 100. hence X can be any value between 40 to 100 both inclusive.
