Yes. The gradient determines the direction of movement for particles. Diffusion and osmosis are both examples of passive transport Osmosis is the diffusion of water through semipermeable membranes like the cell membrane

The particles will move from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration. This direction of movement is described as movement *with* the concentration gradient.

It is because little kids and toddlers copy everything that they see other people do. If they see you doing something, then they think they are supposed to do it too, and they copy you. Also they are “like sponges”(that’s what my mom says) and “soak up(/remember) everything”.

Low temperature slows down the movement of molecules and slows the speed of the reaction

Explanation:

At low temperatures, the number of successful collisions between the enzyme and substrate is reduced because their molecular movement decreases. The reaction is slow.

What is one of the advantages,
of reproducing sexually versus
asexually?
GalinKa [24]

Answer:

One advantage of sexual reproduction over asexual reproduction is , sexual reproduction provides genetic diversity.

Explanation:

 • Asexual reproduction is the type of reproduction which does not involve the formation or fusion of Gametes.
 • Since no fusion of gametes takes place, traits do not combine and no genetic variation results.
 • Sexual reproduction involves the production and fusion of male and female gamete.
 • Since the participating gametes come from different individuals, their traits combine are present in the offspring.
 • Sexual reproduction causes genetic variation and development of new characters in the offsprings.
 • This leads tp genetic diversity in the population.
