Photgraphs of distant galaxies show them as they were when they were much younger than they are today

History

ycow [4]3 years ago

True.
The reason why photographs capture images of distant galaxies much younger then they are at the moment the photograph was taken is because a picture that is taken can see what you see. What I mean is that you can see things because you're receiving the light produced by distant objects and by the time you can see distant objects the light has already been traveling. An Example of this is our sun when we look up and see our sun we're seeing about 8 minutes into the past because of the time it takes for light to travel from the sun to our planet.
Hope this helped.

Why was it important for the americans to win the support of france during the revolution?
VikaD [51]
We had lack of supplies going into the war. So, getting support from France and other countries would help our military in the fight against Great Britain.

Also, France had more experience fighting, and therefore, help train our soldiers.

Americans also did not have much of a navy. So, with over 10,000 French soldiers and 30,000 French sailors, the French help was very important to our military.

When we became allies with the French, it helped our trade.

When the French helped us, it opened doors for other countries to assist us

The person who had a greater impact on industrial development in the U.S., was Samuel Slater (Who was born in England in June 9, 1768 and died in April 21, 1835), because He was a pioneer in the American Industrial Development that took the British textile technology and the machinery designs and brought them to the United States, and with that industrial system and the machines, he created the first textile factories of North america, and began a business in that industry with his sons. And thanks to that, it was generated an increase and an enhance in the U.S. industrial development, which caused that U.S became in one of the most industrialized nation. So for that reason, Samuel Slater was known as the "Father of the American Factory System".

But by other side, although Eli Whitney contributed to the U.S. Industrial Revolution with the invention of the cotton gin, however, he wasn't founded the pillars of the Industrial Development of the U.S., as Samuel Slater did it.

So, according to the previous, the right answer is Samuel Slater.
