so to find angle one you just subtract the other angles from 180°

180°-33°-92°=55°

angle 2 is going to be equal to the adjacent angle every time so it's equal to 92°

angle 3 you just subtract everything from 360°

360°-90°-115°-92°= 63°

AXYZ has vertices at (0.0), (6,9), and (15.0).
exis [7]

Answer:

The coordinates of the vertices of the image are (0, 0), (2, 3), (5, 0) ⇒ (A)

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>Let us talk about dilation</em>

  • A dilation is a transformation that changes the size of a figure.
  • It can become larger or smaller, but the shape of the figure does not change.
  • The scale factor measures how much larger or smaller  the image will be
  • If the scale factor greater than 1, then the image will be larger
  • If the scale factor between 0 and 1, then the image will be smaller

→ If point (x, y) dilated with scale factor m about the origin, then

→ Its image is (m x, m y)

<em>Let us solve the question</em>

∵ ΔXYZ has vertices:

→ X = (0, 0)

→ Y = (6, 9)

→ Z = (15, 0)

∵ ΔXYZ is dilated by a scale factor 1/3 about the origin

→ Multiply each coordinate in each vertex by the scale factor 1/3

∵  (0 × \frac{1}{3} , 0 ×  \frac{1}{3} )

∴ X' = (0, 0)

∵  (6 × \frac{1}{3} , 9 ×  \frac{1}{3} )

∴ Y' = (2 , 3)

∵  (15 × \frac{1}{3} , 0 ×  \frac{1}{3} )

∴ Z' = (5, 0)

∴ The coordinates of the vertices of the image are (0, 0), (2, 3), (5, 0)

Use circle C<br><br> classify arc MNO in circle C
inna [77]

Answer:

Semicircle

Step-by-step explanation:

As we can see, the arc is bounded by the chord MO

since the chord passes through the center of the circle, we have it that the chord is a diameter

Mathematically, an arc bounded by a diameter represents half of a circle

So we can conclude that the arc MNO in circle C is a semicircle

3x + 8y = 28<br> 3x + 2y = 4<br> Find both the x and y coordinates
umka2103 [35]

Answer:

(- \frac{4}{3}, 4 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the 2 equations

3x + 8y = 28 → (1)

3x + 2y = 4 → (2)

Subtracting (2) from (1) term by term will eliminate the x- term

(3x - 3x) + (8y - 2y) = (28 - 4), that is

6y = 24 ( divide both sides by 6 )

y = 4

Substitute y = 4 into either of the 2 equations and solve for x

Substituting into (1)

3x + 8(4) = 28

3x + 32 = 28 ( subtract 32 from both sides )

3x = - 4 ( divide both sides by 3 )

x = - \frac{4}{3}

Solution is (- \frac{4}{3}, 4 )
