he number of protons give elements their unique chemical properties, and define their electron energy levels. All three of these elements are naturally occurring, and act chemically like hydrogen because they each have one proton. The different number of neutrons gives them all greatly different atomic mass.

What are the reactants and products of a redox reaction, neutralization reactions, and precipitation reactions?
Virty [35]

Answer:

Precipitation reactions are ones in which at least one of the reactants is in the aqueous phase (i.e., dissolved in water), and a solid forms on the product side which was not present on the reactant side. If all the reactants are solid, then a solid product forming should not be called a precipitate. To be called a precipitate, an insoluble product must form from within solution, either from a solid and solute interacting, or from an interaction strictly between solutes.

What is the electronegativity difference for a bond between potassium and iodine? A. 3.3 B. 4.6 C. 0.4 D. 1.7
user100 [1]
Iodine has an electronegativity of 2.5, and potassium has an electronegativity of 0.8, so the difference is:

Calculate the equilibrium constant for each of the reactions at 25 ∘C. 2Fe3+(aq)+3Sn(s)→2Fe(s)+3Sn2+(aq)
Fofino [41]
We take activities of Solids and liquids equal 1. The reason is there concentrations not at all change amount of reactant at equilibrium in the reaction. Hence we don't consider concentrations of pure solids and liquids while writing equilibrium constant. So for above reaction, equilibrium constant (K) = [Sn^2 +] ^3 x 1 / [Fe^3+]^2 x 1.
