Let the number of hours Brian travelled = X
Then the number of hours Anne traveled = 5X + 2
Since they together travelled 20 hours, then
X + ( 5X + 2) = 20
X + 5X + 2 = 20
6X + 2 = 20
6X = 20 - 2
6X = 18
X = 18/6
   = 3 hours.
So brian travels for a period of 3 hours.
Now the number of hours Anne travelled = 5X +2
                                                                 = (5 * 3) + 2
                                                                 = 15 + 2
                                                                 = 17 hours.

Sonbull [250]
Yes, she is correct
1/2 + 1/2 = 1 or 0.5 + 0.5 = 1 so half of a wall plus half of a wall equals one hole wall.

That's as simple as I can put it mathematical reasoning. I hope this helps

What you have to do is look at all the measurements (ft) and they are labeled. And some of the sides that aren't labeled have clues of what they could be. So when I added, I got 78 ft for my answer.
