First you wanna simpifly the fractions.
And then wanna multiply the the numerators.
And then multiply the denominators to get the new denominators.

Best Answer: to multiply fractions you simply take the denominator of both fractions and multiply them, do the same to the numerator, and you have your answer.
ex.
2 5 10
-- * -- = ----
4 8 32

then, of course, you would need to simplify.

so the answer is

10(/2) 5
-------- = -----
32(/2) 16

To multiply mixed numbers, you need to convert them to improper fractions, multiply and then convert them back to a mixed number. For example:
2 1/2 x 5 1/3 = 5/2 x 16 /3

numerator 5 x 16 = 80 denominator 2 x 3 = 6

so now you convert 80/6 into a mixed number

80 / 6 = 13 and 2/6 or, reduced, 13 1/3.

Duke Energy reported that the cost of electricity for an efficient home in a particular neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio, was $1
Gnoma [55]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a. H0: μ ≤ 104 Ha: μ > 104

Assuming the data leads to the rejection of the null hypothesis, we would conclude that there is no sufficient statistical evidence to prove that the cost of electricity for an efficient home in a particular neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio, was $104 per month.

b. The type error in this situation would be rejecting the null hypothesis when it is actually true. Rejecting the fact that the cost of electricity for an efficient home in a particular neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio, was $104 per month when it was actually true.

c. Type II error in this case would be failing to reject the null when it is false. Failing to reject the fact that the cost of electricity for an efficient home in a particular neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio, was $104 per month when it is actually not true.

The consequences for these errors might be disastrous including sueing of the accuser party etc.

Answer: Phillip is correct. The triangles are not congruent.

How do we know this? Because triangle ABC has the 15 inch side between the two angles 50 and 60 degrees. The other triangle must have the same set up (just with different letters XYZ). This isn't the case. The 15 inch side for triangle XYZ is between the 50 and 70 degree angle.

This mismatch means we cannot use the "S" in the ASA or AAS simply because we don't have a proper corresponding pair of sides. If we knew AB, BC, XZ or YZ, then we might be able to use ASA or AAS.

At this point, there isn't enough information. So that means John and Mary are incorrect, leaving Phillip to be correct by default.

Note: Phillip may be wrong and the triangles could be congruent, but again, we don't have enough info. If there was an answer choice simply saying "there isn't enough info to say either if the triangles are congruent or not", then this would be the best answer. Unfortunately, it looks like this answer is missing. So what I bolded above is the next best thing.

PLEASE HELP WITH GEOMETRY IM STUCK!?}
Ilya [14]

Answer:

13.8

Step-by-step explanation:

Recall the trigonometric ratios

Sine = Opposite over Hypotenuse (SOH)

Cosine = Adjacent over Hypotenuse (CAH)

Tangent = Opposite over Adjacent (TOA)

Now lets look back at the question

We are given an angle and its adjacent side length (11) and we need to find the hypotenuse

The hypotenuse and adjacent sides corresponds with the trig function cosine so we will use cosine to solve for x

( remember that cosine = adjacent over hypotenuse )

cos(37)=\frac{11}{x}

step 1 multiply each side by x

cos(37)*x=xcos(37)\\\frac{11}{x} *x=11

now we have xcos(37)=11

step 2 divide each side by cos(37)

\frac{xcos(37)}{cos(37)} =x\\\frac{11}{cos(37)} =13.77349\\

we're left with x = 13.77439

Our last step would be to round to the nearest tenth

We would get that the answer is 13.8

A theater has 28 rows of 38 seats downstairs and 14 rows of 26 seats upstairs. How many seats does the theater have?
Triss [41]
For downstairs- 28 x 38= 1064

For upstairs- 26 x 14= 364

All together- 1064 + 364= 1428

So.... 1428 seats in total.

Hope this helped! :)
