1)In exocytosis: The neurotransmitter is produced, vesicles are formed around the neurotransmitters to be released and they fuse with the outer membrane of the presynaptic cell.  Then, their contents (neurotransmitters) are secreted into the synaptic cleft.

2) the compounds recycled: Vesicles.
The membranes formed from old vesicles become part of the presynaptic membrane and new vesicles surge from that area of the membrane. These new vesicles are refilled with more neurotransmitters.

3)Answer: Calcium ions.
Action potentials open calcium channels that are in the membrane of the presynaptic cell, which causes the Ca+ ions to move to inside the cell . Calcium ions trigger the release of neurotransmitter from the vesicles into the synaptic cleft.

  • The main ecological problem that mariclture addresses is the environmental degradation especially the water pollution.
  • Many studies suggests that the tradition of mariculture has been increasing the acidificaton in ocean water that is directly affecting the marine organisms and plants.
  • A build up of organic material beneath fish farms impacts the flora and fauna of an area.

The answer is Myometrium. Myometrium is a center muscular layer of uterus; constitutes most of uterine wall; and more fibrous near cervix; produces labor contractions, expels fetus) composed mainly of smooth muscle (sweep downward from fundus, spiral around body; less muscular.  oxytocin promotes labor by directly stimulating muscles of myometrium; stimulating fetal membranes to produce prostaglandins, which are synergists of oxytocin in producing labor contractions.
