Given expression is:

$(1 \times 5) \times 1 = 5$

We have to use the associative property of multiplication

When we are multiplying two or three numbers, it does not matter where we put the parenthesis, it results in same answer

$a \times (b \times c) = (a \times b) \times c$

Therefore,

$(1 \times 5) \times 1 = 1 \times (5 \times 1) = 1 \times 5 = 5\\\\(1 \times 5) \times 1 =5$
