please help me with this: Suppose a teacher gives 10 points for putting your name on a 100 point test. The minimum score on that

test is 10 and the maximum score is 100. Write an absolute value equation that represents the minimum and maximum scores. Use x to represent the scores.

Suppose there are n observations in a data set consisting of the observations x1, x2, x3, ..., xn.

Rounding rule: round to one more decimal place than the highest number of decimal places contained in the data.

The formula can also be represented as sigma * xi / n.

x bar = SAMPLE MEAN

Mu = POPULATION MEAN

n= sample size
N= POPULATION SIZE

The sum of the deviations from the mean is always equal to 0.

The mean will always be pulled towards any outliers.

Ex: the average price of similar televisions at different stores. This is quantitative data that does not have outliers since the TVs at the different stores are similar

nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

360,360

Step-by-step explanation:

This is called a Permutation with repetition, we want to know in how many ways we can arrange a certain ammount of elements (normal permutation), BUT some of those elements are identical.

The formula we use in these cases is:

\frac{n!}{n1!*n2!*...*ni!}

where n is the total amount of elements, n1 is the amount of repeated elements of the type 1, n2 is the amount of repeated elements of the type 2, ni is the amount of repeated elements of the type i.

In this particular case we have:

n=13 (total amount of shirts)

n1=2 (small shirts)

n2=3 (medium shirts)

n3=6 (large)

n4=2 (extra large)

then the amount of orders the shirts can be sold at (arranged) is:

\frac{13!}{2!*3!*6!*2!}=360,360

Bob has $1.15 in his wallet which contains 18 coins in nickels and dimes. Find how many nickles he has.
ratelena [41]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  13 nickels

Step-by-step explanation:

Let n represent the number of nickels Bob has. Then 18-n is the number of dimes, and the total value (in cents) is ...

  5n +10(18-n) = 115

  -5n +180 = 115 . . . simplify

  65 = 5n . . . . . add 5n-115

  13 = n . . . . . . . divide by 5

Bob has 13 nickels.
