I believe the easiest way to do this is to set up a proportion.
We can also rephrase this to help.
We know that 30 is 5% of the total. From here we can set up a proportion.
30/x = 5/100
3000 = 5x Cross multiply
600 = x Divide both sides by 5

600 should be the answer. To test the answer, do 30/600 and you should get 5% or .05.

Hope this helps! Be sure to message me if you have any questions!

Simplify x ------- first, the answer should be x -------

Since its 5 or higher you round up so I got 1 whole.
If it's doesn't add up to you I'm sorry.

Keenan currently does a total of 8 pushups each day. He plans to increase the number of pushups he does each day by 2 pushups un
vivado [14]

Answer:

Number of push up = 8 + 2x

Step-by-step explanation:

Keenan can do 8 push ups each day. He plans to do 2 extra day until he is doing 30 push ups. Each day he does an additional 2 push up, on the first day he does 8 + 2 = 10 push up, on the second day he does 10 + 2 = 12 push ups. This can be represented by the expression:

Number of push up = 8 + 2x

where x is the number of days.

To do 30 push ups, we can calculate the number of days needed:

30 = 8 + 2x

2x = 30 - 8

2x = 22

x = 11

Solve for t. 19=1/2gt2
inysia [295]

19 = 1/2 g t²

Multiply each side by 2 :

38 = g t²

Divide each side by ' g ' :

t² = 38/g

Square root each side :

t = √(38/g)
