Answer:

Factor analysis

Explanation:

In a survey, the more variables are used, the more they tend to be correlated with each other. In such cases the researcher needs to look for ways to manage these variables by grouping them or creating a new measure that can represent a set of these variables.

Factor analysis is an exploratory statistical technique that allows this work to be performed. It seeks to define, in a study with many variables, highly correlated sets of variables, known as factors. The factors are intended to summarize the various variables into a smaller set of dimensions with minimal information loss.

Because of this ability to manipulate many variables with mastery, factor analysis was the perfect statistical technique to be associated with trait theory that analyzes the correlations between responses in personality inventories and other measures.

<u>Explanation: </u>

  • This system allowed non-meritorious people to hold positions of great responsibility and authority merely for being in acquaintance with the leaders of the government.
  • This system culminated in giving rise to corruption in almost all the activities that were carried out by the administration. Most departments that came under the government were observed to be engaged in corruption during the late TOUS.

Brian banged his shin against a desk and grimaced with pain. he quickly bent over and began rubbing his leg where he'd banged it
vova2212 [387]

This phenomenon can best be explained by <u>"the gate-control theory".</u>

According to the gate control theory, pain signals are not allowed to achieve the brain when they are produced at the harmed tissues or destinations. They have to experience certain 'neurological gates' at the spinal cord level and these doors decide if the torment signs should achieve the brain or not. As such, pain is seen when the entryway offers path to the torment signs and it is less exceptional or not in the least saw when the door closes for the signs to go through. This theory gives the clarification for why somebody discovers help by rubbing or kneading a harmed or a difficult region.

Why were Americans ready for a new leader in Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1932? Check all that apply. Many feared the expense of Pre
andreyandreev [35.5K]

The correct answer is A, B, D, E, F. Hoover did not really have a plan to pay for unemployment, he created the “President's Organization for Unemployment Relief” in 1931, which paradoxically did not provide any funding whatsoever for relief programs of any kind. It was only a way to help local relief agencies to organize their relief efforts without any government funding. As a result of the ever increasing unemployment and lack of actual relief for ordinary citizens, poverty and homelessness continued to grow. He only provided financial relief and funds to banks and financial institutions, ideologically convinced that the reason for the depression was the lack of confidence of citizens in the solvency of financial institutions. One of the most negative aspects of his Revenue Act of 1932 was that it imposed a two cent tax on every bank check, harming the finances of the very few people who were still employed.  Because of his economic ideological biases which resulted in inaction to actually solve the underlying sources of the Depression, unemployment did hit 25 percent of the population. His very few government programs were only aimed to provide relief for big banks and financial institutions. Small businesses and small rural banks were collapsing everywhere (which is why I did not select option C, since large banks and corporations did benefit from his very selective relief policies). In light of these events, it is obvious that most Americans saw no end in sight to their extreme economic and social hardships and thus, Hoover was defeated by a landslide in the presidential 1932 elections (a meager 6 States carried over Roosevelt’s 42).
