Am certain that the somatosensory cortex in the human brain processes information about bodily sensations. The somatosensory cortex receives all sensory input from the body. Cells that are part of the brain or nerves that extend into the body  called neurons.. Neurons that sense feelings in our skin, pain, visual, or auditory stimuli, all send their information to the somatosensory cortex for processing.

Ann [662]

Answer:

Pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) serves as a biological catalyst and lowers the activation energy.

Explanation:

Enzymes act as biological catalysts that allow a reaction to occur faster and with less activation energy. An enzyme replacement therapy, such as PERT used in the case of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, is able to supply the function of an enzyme that the body does not produce.

The exocrine pancreas produces digestive enzymes, such as amylase and lipase, which aid in the digestion of carbohydrates and lipids. In the absence of enzyme production by the pancreas, PERT provides the necessary enzymes for digestion.

Mitosis and meiosis differ in several ways. Meiosis, but not mitosis, _____. involves two bouts of cell division results in four
kakasveta [241]

Answer: is correctly described by all of these statements

Explanation:

Meiosis is the process that enables sexual reproduction to occur. It ensures that a haploid phase exists throughout the life cycle, which will have the diploid phase restored through fertilization. The four daughter cells have half the number of chromosomes in comparison with the mother cell. Meiosis is composed of two "rounds" prophase-metaphase-anaphase-telophase-cytokinesis cycle (meiosis I and meiosis II). Despite being very similar to mitosis, these cycles have some fundamental differences.  This process is important for increasing the genetic variability of daughter cells. And genetic variability is a necessary thing for the evolution and survival of the population.
