A) The greatest number of museum tickets that can be sold for $21 is 14 tickets.

B) Use the equation below:
Rise ÷ Run
You can use (4 tickets, 6 dollars) as one point. You rise up by 6 dollars and run by 4 tickets so now you have to do rise÷run which is 6÷4. That means the answer is $1.50, so one ticket costs $1.50

C)
c= total amount of money
n= number of muesuem tickets bought

c=1.50n
(I believe this is the right answer, I'm not too sure)

max2010maxim [7]
Well it's definitely not 2 groups because it is an odd number.
It is not 4 groups because that would be 87.5
It is not 6.

A radioactive element has a half-life of 5,750 years. Archeologists determined a relic had lost 25.5% of this element at the tim
Dmitry [639]

Answer:

2441.95 years

Step-by-step explanation:

We can model this exponencial function as:

P = Po * (1+r)^(t/n)

Where P is the final value, Po is the inicial value, r is the rate, t is the time and n is the period of half-life.

In this case, we have that P/Po = 100% - 25.5% = 74.5% = 0.745, r = -0.5 and n = 5750, so we have that:

0.745 = (1 - 0.5)^(t/5750)

Step 1: log in both sides:

log(0.745) = (t/5750) * log(0.5)

Step 2: isolate t

t = 5750*log(0.745)/log(0.5) = 2441.95 years
