Why'd Booker T. Washington become a civil rights activist?
kotykmax [81]

Answer:

At one of Booker's jobs in a regional coal mine, he first overheard two workers address the Hampton Institute. It was a school for previous slaves in southeastern Virginia founded by General Samuel Chapman. Chapman had been a general of black troops for the Union during the Civil War and was dedicated to improving educational opportunities for African Americans.

Booker wanted to be just like Samuel, so in the year 1872, Washington walked 500 miles to Hampton. He went on to study at Wayland Seminary in Washington, D.C. Booker had fascinated and satisfied Samuel Chapman, so he was invited to return to Hampton as a teacher in the year 1879. Chapman suggested Washington for a role as an administrator of a new academy for African Americans in Tuskegee, Alabama. It was called the Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute.

Ideology of hindu religion
Nataliya [291]

Answer:

Since Hinduism isn't an organized religion, there is no single or systematic approach to understanding or teaching its "value system", however there are several core beliefs that are held across the religion which help us grasp their basic ideology. The only god that Hindus believe in is Brahman, a formless yet eternal being. Along with their god, Hindu scriptures can be found in The Vedas, which contains revelations received by ancients in the religion.  Those who practice Hinduism most likely hold the belief that truth is eternal. However even more importantly, the main goal of Hinduism is to achieve Dharma, which is essentially one's true calling or purpose in life. The ideology of Hinduism suggests that our souls are immortal, meaning that the actions of a soul residing in a body will reap the consequences of those actions in the next life. Same soul, different body. The final notable aspect of the ideology is the concept of Moksha. For Hindus, this is the ultimate goal of the soul. It is a process of liberation where the soul is released from the consistent cycle of death followed by rebirth. This is instead where the soul meets with Brahman. Path of duty, knowledge, and devotion are what brings a soul to Moksha.

Answer:

Display Rule

Explanation:

According to my research on studies conducted by various sociologists, I can say that based on the information provided within the question this difference is due to a formation of the Display Rule. This term refers to informal cultural norms that individuals learn very early in their lives from different interactions within the society that they are part of. Which is why each culture is different, such as is exhibited by the emoticons used.
