For many black feminist, Freidan’s book ignored thousands of working women and instead suggested that all women experience oppression in the same way. In 1960’s the difference between white middle class and black women’s oppression could not have been more noticeable. A life of happy homemaking for white suburban women which recommended by experts, as documented in Freidan’s book reprimanded that black women for their failure to adapt to this model. The reason behind this is because black mothers by tradition worked outside the home in much larger numbers than white counterparts in such they are blamed for a range of social ills on basis of their relative economic independence.

How international affairs should be handled by the president is not the major compromises during the constitution convention included.

Option D

<h3><u>Explanation:</u></h3>

There were some important as well as some major compromises that were taken at the time of the constitution convention. These things included how the slaves and servants should be taken into count while estimating the population of a particular country. Also, added to this, how people should represent themselves in the congress should also be calculated.

The only thing that is not taken into consideration is that, how the international policies and affairs should be handled by the president of a country. This does not actually comes under this compromise taken by the government.

Which achievement is credited to Aristotle?
alexdok [17]

Answer:

He described an ideal form of government in his writing.

Explanation:

The Greek philosopher Aristotle was a pupil of Plato and like his teacher, he was also interested in observing and describing/ working on what constitutes an ideal government. This stemmed from the wrongful accusation and death of Socrates which led to Pluto and eventually Aristotle critiquing and even suspecting a democratic government.

He famously stated in his "Politics" that <em>"man is by nature a political animal"</em>. Like his teacher Plato, he also developed his own ideas about what constitutes an ideal government and analyzed all forms of government.

Thus, the <u>correct answer is the fourth option</u>.

Which was the most common form of resistance among enslaved people?
elena-s [515]
One form of resistance was slowing down the picking of cotton.  Slaves would intentionally go slower so that they could have an easier time in the fields.  This was combatted by the Southern Plantation owners after a while by whipping the slaves severely during their first picks and then mandating that they had to pick at least as much cotton every time after.

Another form of resistance was to run away.  The Underground Railroad helped thousands of slaves escape to the north and to freedom.

Explain the ways mining shaped the West
Paha777 [63]

Answer

1. It set in a process that led to displacement, removal and relocation of the natives

2. Mining rested on the white American talent for claiming legitimacy

3. Created a rapid urbanization kind of settlement

Explanation

There was a friction between miners and Indians during the rush for Gold mining that resulted into the displacement of the natives. Mining in California rested on the white American talent for claiming legitimacy. This is to say that most of them were newcomers yet it did not prevent them from claiming legitimacy of the place as occupants ignoring natives that had the right to local resources. Mining in the west brought concentrated populations, where the mining patterns of settlements turned out to be the future settlement pattern of the region.
