Okay so first,

Confirm: Every time we have 7 large sugar skulls, that also makes 5 large sugar skulls. So if you have 132 ALTOGETHER, then you'd need to do some multiplication/division. First, divide 132 by 5, that equals 26 small sugar skulls. Lastly, 132 ÷ 7 = 18 large sugar skulls. So there are 26 small sugar skulls and 18 large sugar skulls.

(I hope that was right, I tried my best :)

A square sandbox has an area of 75 square feet. Estimate the length of one of the sides of the
horsena [70]

Answer:

8.7

Step-by-step explanation:

Since a square has equal side lengths, the formula for area is s^2, where s stands for side. Since we are given the area, s^2=75 square feet. Take the square root of both sides to get s is equivalent to the square root of 75 square feet. When this becomes a decimal, it is 8.66 feet. Since we are supposed to round to the nearest tenths, it rounds up to 8.7 feet per side length

With work please and thanks
Ipatiy [6.2K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

He bought a total of 5 tickets, some child, some adult. This is the NUMBER equation.

# of adult tickets + # of child tickets = 5 tickets

Now for the COST equation. Each child ticket costs $2, so the expression for that is 2c; each adult ticket costs $8, so the expression for that is 8a. He spend a total of $22:

$2c + $8a = $22

Money and the number of tickets are NOT THE SAME so they cannot be put into the same equation. They won't add or subtract because they're not like.

Your system is choice A
