This is interesting because I come up with 7 hrs and 5 minutes (not 15).
If he leaves at 9:15 am east coast time that is 6:15 west coast time.
He lands at 1:20 west coast time.
So from 6:15 to 1:20 is 7 hours and 5 minutes.
