Width= 1/2x length=x
to find the perimeter, it's the width+width+length+length so:
1/2x+1/2x+x+x=54
3x=54
x=18
the length is 18 cm and the width is 9 cm

Let length of the rectangle = x.
Let width of the rectangle = x/2 (or 1/2 of x)

Remember that Area = 2L + 2W, so . . .

2x + 2(x/2) = 54

2x + (2/2)x = 54

2x + x = 54

3x = 54  -->  x = 54/3 --> x = 18

So the length of the rectangle is 18 cm and the width is 18/2 = 9 cm.

❥\Large\pmb{ \underline {\tt Answer}}

So we can only find x if other two angles of triangle is given.

In angle B as u can see boxed shape angle is there then it probably means it's a 90° angle.

We know sum of angles of triangle = 180°

{Reson :-

There's a formula to fund sum of angles of figure

  • (n-2) × 180
  • (3 -2) × 180
  • 1 × 180
  • 180°

}

Now Let's proceed

\boxed{ \rm Side_1+Side_2+Side_3 = 180\degree}

Fill all the given values

\dashrightarrow \tt 90 \degree + 55 \degree + c = 180 \degree

\\  \\

\dashrightarrow \tt 145\degree + c = 180 \degree

\\  \\

\dashrightarrow \tt  c = 180  \degree - 145\degree

\\  \\

\dashrightarrow \tt  c = 35\degree

\\  \\

Value of x = 35°

What could you do to make the inequalities that are not true into true statements
mars1129 [50]

Answer: example, if both sides of the inequality are multiplied by a negative number, say -3, we get (-2) x (-3) < 7 x (-3) 6 < -21 When both sides of the inequality are multiplied by a negative number, the resulting inequality is not true. To make the resulting inequality true, we have to reverse the inequality symbol.
