Stephen "Tony" Mobley was born to an affluent, middle-class family and was never mistreated or abused. As he grew up, his behavi

or became increasingly violent, until in 1991, when he was 25, he walked into a pizza shop and shot the manager in the neck. While taking the money from the register, he joked that he would return to fill out an application for the soon to be vacant manager position. While he sat in Georgia’s Death Row, his lawyer argued that Tony was genetically disposed to be a killer. Tony’s relatives testified that the family has a long history of producing a few inexplicably violent members, even though most of the family is not. Could Tony have done otherwise than to commit his crimes? Should he be held responsible for his actions? Why?

Answer: 1. Could Tony have done otherwise than to commit his crimes?

Ans= YES.

2. Should he be held responsible for his actions?

Ans= YES.

3. Why?

Ans= Tony was brought up by his parents to the best of their abilities according to the passage. For every human being, there is always a point where you have the ability to make decisions that would determine your outcome in life, in the case of Tony he would have been opportuned to become something better but he decided to continue to tread the path which he did. If he had decided to be something else, he would have achieved it.

Lastly, according to the passage above Tony made a statement "he joked that he would return to fill out an application for the soon to be vacant manager position", this is to show he was not remorseful about his evil deed. So therefore, he should be held responsible for his actions.

Weather forecasters tell people where a hurricane might strike so that they can evacuate and save their lives. But sometimes peo
Bumek [7]

Answer:

Extrapolation

Explanation:

In statistics, extrapolation refers to making an estimate on the future value or behavior of a certain variable based on the current available data. However, extrapolation is subject to a great degree of uncertainty, as it's impossible to account for all the possible variables in the present, and it's next to impossible to know what new variables will affect our calculations in the future. Weather forecasts in particular is an area where errors in the forecasts are very common. This is because making completely accurate predictions is still not possible, mostly because the weather can be affected by countless variables that can't be all measured or accounted for when making a forecast. However, while wrong forecasts can make people angry, forecasters and civil defense authorities have to err on the side of caution. It is better to deal with some people being angry at an unnecessary evacuation, than having people risking their lives in an area affected by a hurricane.

In comparing Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory to Alderfer's ERG theory _____.
Olegator [25]

In comparing Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory to Alderfer's ERG theory recognizes more than one need may operate at one time.

Answer: Option A

Explanation:

Alderfer's ERG theory states that there are 3 core needs- existence, relatedness and growth. The theory states that more than one need may operate at a time and when one need is not met, people satisfy needs in the lower category.

Maslow's need hierarchy theory states that the needs at the lower level are first fulfilled and only when these are satisfied does a person move to the next higher level. This also means that at any given time, only one category of needs exist and are fulfilled.
