Socrates' idea of Government is a perfect republic that is led by a philosopher.
I think the leaders of United States will strongly disagree with Socrates Idea because Socrates strongly opposes democracy. Socrates believed that Democracy is not an efficient way of Government because taking the public opinion's onto account is too much work and may become a hindrance for the Government's plan in the long term.
