The transportation revolution in the United States had greatly impacted in the development of the country's commercial economy. Prior the revolution, the goods were very limited in distribution, only spread on small markets. When transportation had evolved, the goods were able to reach markets afar and there was cost reduction and had increase in the supply and demand.
