I am preparing for a test in psychology, and I tell you, "I’m sure that I’m going to fail. I’m going to study all night, and I’l

l just be happy with anything higher than a C." You are preparing for the same test and you say, "Oh, come on. We’ve been going to lecture and keeping up with the reading—we just need to review everything tonight and I’m sure we’ll do well on the test." What would research concerning pessimistic and optimistic strategies predict about our out-comes?

Answer:

We will get about the same grades on the test.

Explanation:

In optimistic strategies, people tend to set high and positive expectations. They are mostly used by the people who are not anxious. People with high optimistic strategies try to avoid thinking too much on the outcome and they have firm belief that out come will be good or positive.

Whereas a pessimistic strategies, people tend to prepare for the worst. They are used by the anxious people who try to manage their curiosity and stress so as to work productively.

In the given context, the outcome from research concerning pessimistic and optimistic strategies can predict that both of us will get about the same grades in the psychology test.

Hence the answer is ---

We will get about the same grades on the test.

GREYUIT [131]

Yes, Like most strategic bombing during World War II, the aim of the air offensive against Japan was to destroy the enemy's war industries, kill or disable civilian employees of these industries, and undermine civilian morale. If the war had gone longer, without the use of the atomic bomb, how many thousands and thousands of helpless men, women and children would have needlessly died and suffered ...?

How do you believe the Constitution should be taught in schools, especially with all the new resources that we have and the fact
Andrej [43]
I think we should still use some ideas from the Constitution even though it’s old. However, I think it should be taught differently than it’s taught at school now because for younger generations to fully understand—they first need to understand the words clearly.(meaning, the words should be more modern and understandable for any one.)
