A free trade agreement lowers restrictions on trunking across international borders. The following would be a negative externality for the local environment:

An increase in air pollution.

When restrictions are lowered more trucks would be available to cross the international border. This would most likely create more traffic and pollution. Since producers would aim to export more.

What was the terrorist’s main goal in committing the September 11, 2001, attacks?
Oxana [17]

Letter B is correct.

The attacks took place because Osama Bin Laden (the leader of al-Qaeda), who had naïve beliefs about the United States, wanted to punish America the same way he had been punished in the past when the U.S supported the Israelis destroying the towers in Lebanon and killing their people. The 9/11 terrorist attack was considered a huge success for al-Qaeda because it killed and affected many people and damaged the US economy. Al-Qaeda's target was a good choice since the World Trade Center was the heart of New York and its financial district which kept their markets closed for 4 trading days and provoked record losses.

Which of the following statements is true of short-term memory? Its storage capacity is virtually unlimited. It is an active memo
tatuchka [14]

Answer:

It retains information for only as long as 30 seconds unless strategies are used to retain it longer. I

Explanation:

In simple words, a short term memory can be defined as memory structure in which the limited amount of processing takes place. Unless the knowledge in short term memory is retained by repetition or other such techniques, it has a very small capacity (7 items +/- 2) and a short period (max 30 seconds). It can be seen as a secondary processor of the brain.

Thus, from the above we can conclude that the correct option is second statement.
