notsponge [240]

Answer:

60%

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 20 pieces of fruit in a basket and 12 of them are oranges what percentage of the pieces of fruit in the basket are orange show your work in the box and circle your answer

Total oranges in the basket = 20

Number of oranges = 12

what percentage of the pieces of fruit in the basket are orange

= Number of oranges / Total pieces of fruits × 100

= 12/20 × 100

= 0.6 × 100

= 60%

First, make sure that all the variables are in one side. The first equation is gonna be x-y=3

Second, we are going to eliminate the y because it is much easier, but you can also eliminate the x

We have to add both equation because the y in the first equation is negative and in the second equation it’s positive.

We are left with 3x=9

Therefore, x=3

Last, substitute x= 3 in one of the equations

Y=6

P.O.I is (3,6)

7. The largest of the Great Pyramids in Egypt was built with a square base,
strojnjashka [21]

Answer:

Difference between the original and current volumes = 4013140.30 cubic feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Largest pyramid has the square base with one edge = 754 feet

Area of the square base = (Side)²

                            = (754)²

                            = 568516 square feet

Volume of the pyramid = \frac{1}{3}(\text{Area of the base})(\text{Height})

                                       = \frac{1}{3}\times 568516\times 481

                                       = 91152065.3 cubic feet

After erosion,

Area of the base = (745)² = 555025 square feet

Volume of the pyramid = \frac{1}{3}(555025)(471)

                                       = 87138925 cubic feet

Difference between the original and current volumes of the pyramid

= 91152065.30 - 87138925

= 4013140.30 cubic feet

Byron’s income last year was $61,700. He made $48,000 at his plumbing job and had income from an apartment that he rented out. I
cricket20 [7]
Total income minus income from plumbing gives us income from rent.  Divide that by 12 to give us the monthly income from rent.

61700-4800 = 13700

13700/12 = 1,141.67 a month in rent.
