Based on the general trend of your data, what happened to the heart rate and pulse amplitude immediately after exercise and then
Nata [24]

Exercise is very vital to the body,it a form of physical activity.the sole aim of excercise is to maintain stamina, flexibility, keep fit and be overly healthy and well.

When we excercise, our heart rate increases and then it returns to the normal rate when with rest, when we take a break.there is reflection of vasoconstriction in the fingers as the blood is shunted to only the exercising muscles because it is noted that the pulse amplitude of the heart is always small after excercise and and increases slowly during recovery.

The amount of blood the heart pumps in a minute, that is the amount of blood ejected by the contraction of the left ventricle into systemic circulation increases when we are exercising and resistance to blood flow by skeletal muscles decreases.the blood vessels will try to adapt to the condition (exercise) inorder to control blood flow and as well meet energy demands.

When we finish exercising, our body temperature increases which will inturn cause increase in the pulse rate and the blood in our body makes way to our skin, hands and legs inorder to clear off the energy that was generated by the body(muscles) during exercise

when a population split into two subgroups what is most likely to cause the subgroups to develop different traits?
marissa [1.9K]

Answer: The question is is incomplete, here are the options.

A. Separating the two groups decreases the chance that the two groups will diverge

B. Traits that form in one group from evolutionary forces quickly spread through both populations

C. Forces like natural selection and genetic drift affect the genes of the two subgroups differently

D. Gene flow is increased in the two subgroups that are formed

The correct Option is C.

C. Forces like natural selection and genetic drift affect the genes of the two subgroups differently.

Explanation:

Forces of natural selection and genetic drift affect the genes of the two subgroups differently because there are differences In the way they are natural selected and genetic drift.

Natural selection is the different phenotype or traits developed by different organisms who h make them to adapt, survive and reproduce than others in their environment. The two sub groups have different phenotype Expressed which cause them to develop different trait.

Genetic drift refers to change or variation in frequency of genes in animals overtime. Genetic drift occur at different rate in different population of organsim which lead to development of different trait in the subgroup.

why does the pond not get as hot during the day when water lilies cover the pond surface with leaves?
Fittoniya [83]
The pond will get hot because the sun light heated the water. And the lilies' leaves can absorbed the light of blue and red then reflect the green light. So the amount of light which can be absorbed by water will decrease. Thus the pond does not get so hot.
