To find the median, we must find put the data set in order from least to greatest.

Great! We already have it like that :)

Now, our median is in between 71 and 87

So, basically, we have to find what the median of 71 and 87 are.

Simply add the two numbers together, and then divide it by 2.

71 + 87 = 158

158 ÷ 2 = 79

So, 79 is your median!
