1 ball of yarn makes 2 caps.

2 balls of yarn makes 4 caps and so on.

If it takes 4 balls of yarn to make 8 caps, then it takes 3 balls of yarn to make 6 caps.

How?

3 × 2 = 6.

3 is balls of yarn, 2 is caps made per ball of yarn.

Hope this helped! :D

The answer will be 3

If you Divide 4 into 8 you will get the constant rate of yarn per caps. You multiple the dividend time the number of caps, 6 and then you will get your answer!

Equation/set up:

4/8 = 0.5     (constant rate: 0.5)

0.5 * 6 = 3

3 ball of yarn make 6 caps!

Two pieces of lengths 13/3 m and 3/5 m are cut off from a rope 15
garri49 [273]

Hello there! ;) The way you solve this type of problem is you must find common denominators. So simplify 13/3= 4 1/3. So we can do 1/3*5/5=5/15. Next we must do 3/5*3/3= 9/15. So add 5/15+9/15= 14/15. And add the 4+ 14/15=          4 14/15. So then you must subtract 15 - 4 14/15= 10 1/15 I believe. I believe 10 1/15 is the remainder of the rope. You might want to check in with someone else though.

Hope I help! :D

Anon25 [30]

Answer:

6 each

Step-by-step explanation:

Add 1 granola bar $1.15 plus one magazine $1.25 = $2.40

$15.00/$2.40 = 6.25

6 granola bars x $1.15 = $6.90

6 magazines x $1.25 = $7.50

$6.90 + $7.50 = $14.40
