During French revolution, Jacobins were the one who were responsible for the nemesis of king and up rise of French revolution. They happens to be the members of revolutionary club also known as Jacobins club .They were also responsible for the violence during French revolution. The solemn name of the club was “society of the friends of the constitution”. Maximilien Robespierre was the dominant member of the group and at one point became the most powerful person of France.  

The Jacobins gave a remarkable presence in National Convention and entitled themselves for the Chambers Uppermost seat. They formed a joint government of the Committee of Public Safety and Committee of General Security. They created a strong government that could cope with war needs, economic chaos and internal revolts.
