What you gotta take from this problem:

What Joe got during break = 2t+2

What his sister gave him = 3t

What he has total = 10 tadpoles.

Now to assemble this equation:

2t+2+3t=10

Now combine like terms to get 5t+2=10

Subtract 2 on each side of the equation to get 5t=8

Now you would divide 5 on each side and get t=1.6 , however since you can't have a .6 of a tadpole, you would have to round it up to 2.

babunello [35]

Answer:

The answer to your question is 15 bags.

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

45 chocolate chip cookies

30 peanut butter cookies

15 oatmeal cookies

Process

1.- Calculate the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) for the number of cookies.

                     45   30   15   2

                      45   15    15  3

                       15    5     5   3

                         5   5      5   5

                          1    1      1

GCF = 3 x 5 = 15

2.- Conclusion

I can make 15 bags of cookies with the following distribution

Each bag will have           - 3 chocolate chip cookies

                                          - 2 peanut butter cookies

                                          - 1 oatmeal cookie.

What is the midline equation of y = -4sin (2x - 7) + 3?
Georgia [21]

Answer:

y = 3.

Step-by-step explanation:

The minimum and maximum value of \sin(2\, x - 7) over all real x are (-1) and 1, respectively. Hence, the maximum and minimum value of y = -4\, \sin(2\, x - 7) + 3 would be:

  • Maximum: y = (-4)\, (-1) + 3 = 7.
  • Minimum: y = (-4)\, (1)\ + 3 = (-1).

The midline equation of a sine wave is a horizontal line that is right in the middle of maximum and minimum y-values of that sine wave. In the sine wave in this question, the average of the maximum and minimum y\!-values is (1/2) \, (7 + (-1)) = 3. Hence, the midline equation of this sine wave would be y = 3.
