What you gotta take from this problem:

What Joe got during break = 2t+2

What his sister gave him = 3t

What he has total = 10 tadpoles.

Now to assemble this equation:

2t+2+3t=10

Now combine like terms to get 5t+2=10

Subtract 2 on each side of the equation to get 5t=8

Now you would divide 5 on each side and get t=1.6 , however since you can't have a .6 of a tadpole, you would have to round it up to 2.

A 35% dextrous solution (35 mg per 100 mL of solution) is given intravenously. Suppose a total of 1.17 L of the solution is give
ludmilkaskok [199]

Answer:

The flow rate in dextrous solution  is 0.117 litres per hour

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

The volume of fluid which passes per unit time = 1.17 Litres

Time Period = 10 hour

To Find:

The Flow rate per hour = ?

Solution:

Flow rate is defined as rate at which the "{volume of fluid which passes per unit time"

Here the Flow rate is  = \frac{\text{volume of fluid which passes per unit time}}{ time period}

On substituting the values

The Flow rate is =\frac{1.17}{10}

The flow rate is  0.117 litres per hour

Thus 0.117 litres of dextrous solution flows  per hour.
