Total Surface Area of a Cylinder is : 2πr(r + h)

Given that,

  • Height of the Cylinder (r) = 15 inches

  • Diameter of the Base (d) = 12 inches

  • Radius would be : d/2 = 6 inches

Now,

\sf \: 2\pi r(r + h) \\  \\  \longrightarrow \:  \sf \: 2 \times 6\pi \times (15 + 6) \\  \\  \longrightarrow \:  \sf \: 12\pi \times 21 \\  \\  \longrightarrow \:  \sf \: 252\pi

Simplify the expression please help
Mila [183]
Simplify the following:

((-1^3)/(-3)^(-3))^2

1^3 = 1:
((-1)/(-3)^(-3))^2

(-3)^(-3) = 1/(-1)^3×1/3^3 = (-1)/3^3:
((-1)/((-1)/3^3))^2

3^3 = 3×3^2:
((-1)/(-1/(3×3^2)))^2

3^2 = 9:
((-1)/((-1)/(3×9)))^2

3×9 = 27:
((-1)/((-1)/27))^2

Multiply the numerator of (-1)/((-1)/27) by the reciprocal of the denominator. (-1)/((-1)/27) = (-27)/(-1):
((-27)/(-1))^2

(-27)/(-1) = (-1)/(-1)×27 = 27:
27^2

Can someone help me with this
Alexxandr [17]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

the perimeter (P) of a rectangle is calculated as

P = 2l + 2w ( l is the length and w the width ) , then

P = 2(3\sqrt{15} ) + 2(\sqrt{15} ) ← distribute both parenthesis )

   = 6\sqrt{15} + 2\sqrt{15}

   = 8\sqrt{15}
