OK so it is not as hard as it seems if you add all the angles inside of one triangleit will always be 180 if you did it right and if you and 2 conecting triangs side by side if they are a stright line you would also get 180 ..and if it is not a triangle and it is some type of quadralateral, meaning a shape with 4 sides, you should always add up to 360

For example where you got 50 degrees all you had to do was add up your givin angles and subtract it by 180 since it is a triangle and that would give you 50 if you have any more questions on this just ask

Use the graph to find the bear’s average heart rate when it’s active and when it hibernating
lorasvet [3.4K]

we know that

the rate of a linear equation  is equal to the slope

Step 1

Find the  bear’s average heart rate when it’s active

Let

A(1.5,90)   B ( 2,120)

the slope is equal to

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m=(120-90)/(2-1.5)=30/0.5

m=60 heartbeats/min

therefore

the answer part a) is

the bear’s average heart rate when it’s active is 60 heartbeats/min

Step 2

Find the  bear’s average heart rate when it’s hibernating

Let

A(1.5,18)   B ( 2,24)

the slope is equal to

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m=(24-18)/(2-1.5)=6/0.5

m=12 heartbeats/min

therefore

the answer part b) is

the bear’s average heart rate when it’s hibernating is 12 heartbeats/min

The graph of a cosine function is shown. Which two points on the midline of the function are separated by a distance of one peri
Ray Of Light [21]

Answer: (pi/8, 1) and (5*pi/8, 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

First, the midline is a horizontal line that cuts the graph in two halves.

In this case, we can see that the maximum of the function is y = 2.5, and the minimum is y = -0.5

The difference is:

Diff = (2.5 - (-0.5)) = 3

If we subtract half of the difference (3/2 = 1.5) to the maximum, we get the midline.

Then:

midline: y = 2.5 - (3/2) = 1

the midline is the line y = 1

Now, a period T is such that:

Sin(x) = Sin(x + T)

Two points that are in the midline and that are separated by a period will be two points on the line y = 1, and that are in corresponding parts of the graph.

Here the two points are, counting from left to right, the third and the 11th.

(both of them are in the line y = -1 and in the negative slope part).

The points are:

(pi/8, 1) and (5*pi/8, 1)

Let x be the lowest temperature in may 15

And y the warmest temperature in may 15

Since the lowest temperature is 2/3 the warmest temperature during that day, in equation form
