The better deal would be to babysit for 6 hours and making $57.00.
1. First, I found the unit rate. How much do you make for 1 hour of work? 72/8=9. So, you make $9.00 per hour.
2. Second, I did the same thing with the other situation. 57/6= 9.50. So, you make $9.50 per hour.
3. The better deal would be to babysit for 6 hours making $57.00 because you are making more money per hour. 9<9.5

an ice cream factory makes 310 quarts of ice cream in 5 hours. how many quarts could be made in 48 hrs? what is the rate.
gavmur [86]
The first step is seeing how many times 5 can go in 48. 5 can go in 48 9 times. Then you multiply 310 by 9 which equals 2790. Then you divide 310 by 5 which equals 62. Then you add 62 , three times, to 2790.
The final answer is 2979 quarts.

Hey there! The answer is 1 1/8 mile.

To find the amount of miles Sarah ran, we need to multipy the length of the track by the times she run that distance.
1 \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{3}{4} =  \frac{3}{2} \times  \frac{3}{4}  =  \frac{9}{8} = 1 \frac{1}{8}

Rembember: multiplying a fraction means you have to multiply the <span>numerator by the numerator (of the other fraction) and the denominator by the denominator (of the other fraction)

</span>The answer is 1 1/8 mile.

Answer:

P = 2x + 2y + 8

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter (P) of a rectangle is calculated as

P = 2(l + w) ← l is length and w is width , then

P = 2(x + 5 + y - 1) ← distribute parenthesis

  = 2x + 10 + 2y - 2 ← collect like terms

  = 2x + 2y + 8
