27) \frac{5}{9} = \frac{15}{27}

This is because 5 x 3 is 15. Whatever you do to the top, you do to the bottom. 9 x 3 is 27.

31) \frac{5}{7} = \frac{25}{35}

This is because 7 x 5 is 35. So you times 5 by 5 too.

Hope this helped :)

For the first one the number 5 goes into 15 3 times and you need to do the same to both top and bottom so to get the answer you need to times 9 by 3. Which gives you 27 so the answer for the first one would be
15:27.

For the second question you would do exactly the same as the first divide 35 by 7 which gives you 5 you then times 5 by 5. Which gives you 25. So the answer for the second would be 25/35.

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1: Define Equation</u>

2(6x + 4) - 6 + 2x = 3(4x + 3) + 1

<u>Step 2: Solve for </u><em><u>x</u></em>

  1. Distribute:                                   12x + 8 - 6 + 2x = 12x + 9 + 1
  2. Combine like terms:                   14x + 2 = 12x + 10
  3. Subtract 12x on both sides:       2x + 2 = 10
  4. Subtract 2 on both sides:          2x = 8
  5. Divide 2 on both sides:              x = 4

What is an equation of the line that passes through the points (-6,5) and (6,7)
Andrei [34K]

Answer:

y = 1/6 x + 6

Step-by-step explanation:

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m = (7-5)/(6-(-6))

m = 2/12 = 1/6

Substitute x and y values with a pair of coordinates,

y = mx+c

7 = 1/6(6) + c

7 = 1 + c

c = 6

Thus, the equation is y = 1/6 x +6

Which value, when placed in the circle, would result in a system of equations with infinitely many solutions?
Arlecino [84]

Answer:

A. -10

Step-by-step explanation:

I think you would do like this:

y=2x-5

what about 2y(2x-5) times 2)

so 2y=4x- (-10)
