Cross multiply, and solve for x.

1\frac{2}{3} * 18 = 10x

To find the area of an object, multiply its dimensions. Therefore, you multiply 2 by 3 and 3 by 11. You will get the products 6 and 33. Since we are still working within the same shape, however, you add the products together. You get 39. Therefore, 39 ft. squared is the answer.
