Dimas [21]

Answer:

<u>A. 88y -40</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

B is definitely equivalent to 11y-5 because it is reversed so it is the same if it is reversed. and D is equivalent too because 11 divided by 5 equals 2.2 same thing as 22 in this case. and C im not that sure about but i do not think that that is not equivalent...and A. is the answer is NOT equivalent because how the heck do u get 88y-40???????? <u>the answer that is not equivalent is A. 88y-40</u>

3 students are selected from a class that has 10 boys and 5 girls. what is the probability that 1 boy and 2 girls are selected?
Nookie1986 [14]
Chances of drawing a boy the first time = 12/16.
<span>Chances of drawing a boy the second time = 11/15. </span>
<span>Chances of drawing a boy the third time = 10/14. </span>

<span>(12/16)(11/15)(10/14) = about 39.3%.</span>

In a second grade class containing 12 girls and 11 boys, 2 students are selected at random to give out the math papers. what is
olasank [31]

The probability is defined as \frac{number OfFavourableEvents}{numberOfEvents In TheSampleSpace}.

The number of ways of selecting 2 girls from 12 girls is C(2,12)=\frac{12!}{10!2!} =66.The number of ways of selecting 2 student from 12+11=23 students is C(2,23)=\frac{23!}{21!2!} =253.

The required probability is \frac{66}{253} =\frac{6}{23} =0.261
