Soo lets take anna=2a sun=2a and amanda=a
2a+2a+a=45
5a=45
a=45/5
a=9
then anna and sun=18 and amanda=9

and if we compare the diff annas dollars from attachment and the work shown above = 18-15=3

soo the answer should be three

The answer is:
(b)$3.00
Why?
Your going to have to add "2a" to "2a and a"
(a stands for Anna and Amanda)
when you do that you get 45!
Next~
5a=45
Then we divide
45/5= 9
a=9
Since Anna and Sun worked 2 hrs they get 18
And Amanda gets 9 since she only did 1 hr.
After all that we subtract
15 and 18
and we'll get
3 (aka 3.00)
Hope this helps

If the parent function is square root x. describe the translation of of the fuction square root x-1
NARA [144]
The translation of a function f(x) can be described as:
f(x)->f(x-h)+k
when the functions has been translated h units to the right, and k units up.
Compare with
sqrt(x)->sqrt(x-1)+0
we see that h=1, k=0.

Thus it is a horizontal translation of 1 unit to the right. (zero unit up).

Frank organized his jazz and rock CD Collection. Some CDs are double albums and are therefore wider . The regular CDs are 0.5 cm
tester [92]

Answer: 100 of the CDs are single album and 25 are double album.

Explanation: What you have to do first is find out how many single CDs which are .5 cm in length you can put in 125 with out going over 75 cm. Then the rest of the 25 are of course double album CDs and which equal out to be 125 CDs total and 75 cm total. (the double album CDs technically count asone by the way) I got my answer by first seeing how many double CDs can go in 125 without going over 75 cm. The max you can get is 75. So then you keep removing double album CDs until you get the magic number 125 CDs and 75 cm.

Hope I could help
