What happens to elements when they combine together chemically ?
lara [203]

Answer:

When two distinct elements are chemically combined—i.e., chemical bonds form between their atoms—the result is called a chemical compound. Most elements on Earth bond with other elements to form chemical compounds, such as sodium (Na) and Chloride (Cl), which combine to form table salt (NaCl).

How many grams of KOH are dissolved in 2.50 liters of 1.50 M KOH? (The molar mass of KOH = 56.11 g/mol) 210 grams 93.5 grams 15
romanna [79]
There are a number of ways to express concentration of a solution. This includes molarity. Molarity is expressed as the number of moles of solute per volume of the solution. We can calculate as follows:

Mass of KOH = 1.50 mol KOH/ L solution (2.50 L) (56.11 g/mol) = 210.41 g KOH

Therefore, the first option is the answer.

At STP, solid carbon can exist as graphite or as diamond. These two forms of carbon have(1) the same properties and the same cry
LuckyWell [14K]
The correct statement is in statement 4. The two solid carbons has different properties and different crystal structures. The way the carbons are arranged differs for the two which cause the distinct properties of the two. In a diamond, atoms are arranged tetrahedrally while, in graphite, the atoms are arranged in an infinite array but are layered.
