1. A religious belief in many gods - Polytheism
The doctrine or belief of the existence of more than one God. Some examples are Confucianism, and Hinduism; the Egyptians are also known for having worshiped many different gods and goddesses over the course of its history.
2. The religious practice of foretelling the future - Divination
Divination is the practice of foreseeing or foretelling of future events by preternatural means or through the interpretation of signs, events, or omens. The Inca civilization, for example, practiced it: they often sought knowledge of the future or the unknown by "supernatural" means to determine the proper time to make a sacrifice and other social and religious activities.
3. A religious belief in only one god - Monotheism
The doctrine or belief of the existence of only one God. Judaism, who worships "God" only, and Islam, that believes in "Allah", are examples of monotheistic religions.
