At this point in the story, the hens are refusing to give up their eggs, and they are killed by Napoleon's pigs as a result. This leaves the pigs with ownership of their eggs, and they sell them for profit. This signifies that the animals are no longer equal.
I would consider Rakest and his grandfather to be nature lovers because when they planted the tree they became attached by watching it grow so they fell in love
