It would be 0.2222 so it's your answer

In this pattern, we add a 2 onto the end of each subsequent term.

  • First term: One 2
  • Second term: Two 2's
  • Third term: Three 2's

It would make sense then for the fourth term to have four 2's, and 0.2222 is the only option that fits the bill.

27% of the students in a school are in grade 6. This is 540 students. How many students are in the school?
Anettt [7]

There are a total of 2,000 students in the school.

1.) There are 540 students in the 6th grade. 540 is only 27% of students compared to the total. To find the total students in the whole school, we divide 540 by 27%.

2.) We first change 27% into a decimal by moving the point two times to the left. (Rule to change the percent into a decimal)

27% = .27

3.) Before we divide, we remove the decimal by moving the decimal two times to the right and so do we to 540.

.27 = 27

540. = 54000.

4.) Now we have 54000 divided by 27 which give us the answer of 2,000.

Hope this Helps!!!

Answer:

  9t^3 +t^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter of the figure is the sum of the lengths of the sides. The side lengths are represented by the polynomials shown, so the perimeter (P) is their sum:

  P = (4t^3 -5) + (4t^3 -5) + (t^2 +9) + (t^3 -t^2 -11) + (t^2 +12)

Rearranging to group like terms:

  P = (4t^3 +4t^3 +t^3) + (t^2 -t^2 +t^2) + (-5 -5 +9 -11 +12)

  P = 9t^3 +t^2

The perimeter of the figure is represented by the polynomial 9t^3 +t^2.
