The answer is <u>"Forethought ".</u>

The primary stage is Forethought, which is a preparation step for self-managed learning. This stage uncovers the primary contrast between self-directed students and non-self-managed students on the grounds that the vast majority of non-self-controlled students start their learning without this thinking ahead stage. Oneself managed student breaks down an assignment before discovering some new information, and the most vital thing in this progression is Goal Setting, no uncertainty. A novice student may even begin with defining their learning objective, however much of the time, it's not trailed by an explicit arrangement.

storchak [24]

Answer:

E) bait and switch

Explanation:

BAIT AND SWITCH can be defined as a way in which a seller use advert of a low price to deceive and attract customers to their shop in which the products or item advert by seller is not available in order to sell similar or separate product to the customer at a higher price instead of selling the same product with a low price advertised by the seller.

Example a seller may advert a quality Italian shoe with a low price of $50 in order to deceive a buyer or customers to their place of business by then selling a similar product of shoe that looks like the one advertise by them to the customer at a higher price of $300.

Mamont248 [21]

Complete Question: Many banks and phone companies now charge fees for once-free services to ensure minimum customer revenue levels. This helps the banks to ________.

A) reduce the rate of customer defection

B) make low-profit customers more profitable

C) enhance the growth potential for each customer through cross-selling

D) increase the longevity of the customer relationship

E) focus disproportionate effort on high-value customers

Answer:

B) make low-profit customers more profitable

Explanation:

Many banks and phone companies now charge fees for once-free services to ensure minimum customer revenue levels. This helps the banks to make low profit customers more profitable.

The basic logic behind this strategy is that when customers find something coming free, then they start taking it for granted, they don't pay much attention to it, therefore, when the some services are free, customers will not be spending much on them, like upgrading, monthly plan up-gradations, monthly or annual subscriptions. Consequently, to turn the those customers into highly valuable customers, companies charge for the services which were free of cost in the past.

stich3 [128]

1. $3,700

2. $8,000 and $6,400

3. $5,120

The computation of the depreciation expense for the years are shown below:

1) Straight-line method:

= (Original cost - residual value) ÷ (useful life)

= ($40,000 - $3,000) ÷ (10 years)

= ($37,000) ÷ (10 years)

= $3,700

In this method, the depreciation is same for all the remaining useful life

So for year 2019 and 2020 the same depreciation expense i.e $3,700 is charged separately for each year

(2) Double-declining balance method:

First we have to find the depreciation rate which is given below:

= One ÷ useful life

= 1 ÷ 10

= 10%

Now the rate is double So, 20%

In year 2019, the original cost is 40,000, so the depreciation is $8,000 after applying the 20% depreciation rate

And, in year 2020, the depreciation is

= ($40,000 - $8,000) × 20%

= $6,400

3) For 2021, it would be

= ($40,000 - $8,000 - $6,400) × 20%

= $5,120

Basically we applied the above formulas
