A graph can be shifted both vertically and horizontally. For instance a linear graph, y=ax can  also be described as (y-b)= a(x-c)

Then, y=ax is moved both vertically by b, and horizontally by c.

A website allows users to download television episodes and music videos. All television episodes cost the same to download, and
lisov135 [29]
For Ryan it would be 5.95=4t+m
For Seth it would be 6.95=3t+2m
1.So next you would figure out just one of the prices by moving the equation around and getting just one variable on each side: m=5.95-4t
2. Substitute that into the second equation and solve: 6.95=3t+2(5.95-4t) then
6.95=3t+11.9-8t (subtract 11.9 from each side) -4.95=-5t (divide each side by 5) t=.99
3. now you know each each tv show is 99 cents. now substitute that into the equation and solve: 6.95=3(.99)+2m then 6.95=2.97+2m (subtract 2.97 from each side) 3.98=2m (divide each side by 2) m=1.99
4. now you know each music video is $1.99 each. check your answer by substituting in each equation:
5.95=4(.99)+(1.99) 5.95=5.95 yes!
6.95=3(.99)+2(1.99) 6.95=6.95 yes!
5. solve in a full sentence: The website charges $0.99 to download a television show and $1.99 to download a music video

Put the numbers in order from least to greatest.
koban [17]

Answer:

0.5\times{10}^{-5},

0.00025,

3.5\times{10}^{-4},

1.45 \times {10}^{-3},

25.4 \times  {10}^{ - 4},

0.025,

1.25\times {10}^{-1},

0.025 \times10

Step-by-step explanation:

We can do it this way.

First, let us clear off the powers by multipying each number by

{10}^{5}

This implies that,

1.25 \times  {10}^{ - 1} = 1.25 \times  {10}^{ - 1} \times  {10}^{5}

\implies \: 1.25 \times  {10}^{ - 1}  = 125 \times  {10}^{ - 2} \times  {10}^{ - 1} \times {10}^{5}

\implies \: 1.25 \times  {10}^{ - 1}  =125 \times  {10}^{( - 2 - 1 + 5)}

\implies \: 1.25 \times  {10}^{ - 1}  =125 \times {10}^{2}= 125 \times 100 = 12500

0.00025 = 25 \times {10}^{ - 5} \times {10}^{5}

\implies0.00025 = 25 \times {10}^{ - 5 + 5} = 25

0.025 = 25 \times  {10}^{ - 3}=25 \times{10}^{ - 3}\times {10}^{5}

\implies0.025 = 25 \times  {10}^{ - 3}=25 \times{10}^{ - 3 + 5}

\implies0.025 = 25 \times  {10}^{ - 3}=25 \times{10}^{2} = 25 \times 100 = 2500

0.025 \times 10=25 \times  {10}^{ - 3} \times10 \times {10}^{5}

\implies0.025 \times10=25\times{10}^{(- 3 + 1 + 5)}=25\times{10}^{3}

\implies0.025\times10=25\times1000 = 25000

0.5\times {10}^{-5}=0.5\times {10}^{ - 5} \times  {10}^{5}

0.5\times{10}^{-5}=0.5\times {10}^{(- 5+5)}=0.5

1.45 \times {10}^{-3} = 145 \times  {10}^{ - 2} \times {10}^{ - 3} \times {10}^{5}

\implies1.45 \times {10}^{-3} = 145

25.4 \times  {10}^{ - 4} = 254 \times {10}^{-1} \times {10}^{ - 4}  \times  {10}^{5}

\implies25.4 \times {10}^ {-4} = 254

3.5 \times{10}^{-4}=35 \times {10}^{-1} \times  {10}^{ - 4} \times {10}^{5}

\implies3.5 \times{10}^{-4}=35

Arranging in order from the smallest, we have;

0.5,25,35,145,254,2500,12500,25000

Hence,

0.5\times{10}^{-5},

0.00025,

3.5\times{10}^{-4},

1.45 \times {10}^{-3},

25.4 \times  {10}^{ - 4},

0.025,

1.25\times {10}^{-1},

0.025 \times10

Fractions and such. Brainliest answers goes to whoever. And this is worth a lot of points. Please help me.
maks197457 [2]
1 is A. -1, because when dividing you multiply by the reciprocal, which is when you flip the numbers, so the denominator goes to the numerator and the numerator goes to the denominator. In 2, you convert both fractions to mixed numbers which gives you C. 32 1/5, or 32.2. In 3, you do the same thing except this time you pay attention to the sign, and because a positive* negative = negative, your answer has to be negative. Converting them to mixed numbers and multiplying you should get -73.11 repeating, and it seems that maybe your answer choices got mixed up. If it isn't the case, I will rework the problem. Number 4 would be 5/-3 because when solving you get 1.70, and 5/3 is 1.66 repeating. Number 5 is C. 1/2 because when multiplying you get 1/2. Number 6 is John because Mark paid $3, John paid $4, and the other friend paid $3. If you need me to explain anything more in detail please let me know. Hope this helps.
