Argument: A mother should be able to terminate her pregnancy after 24 weeks gestation if the unborn child is no longer viable, or the mother will have extreme health concerns if carrying child to full term. 2919.17 of the Ohio Revised Code concerns terminating or attempting to terminate human pregnancy after viability. It says (A) No person shall purposely perform or induce or attempt to perform or induce an abortion on a pregnant woman when the unborn child is viable. However, in an instance such as an ectopic pregnancy, the unborn child is unable to survive out of the uterus, and therefore not viable
